After doing a number of traceroute and other network test, and confirming the problem also exists for my ISPs help desk, and the fact that I can access the site via normal channels via a computer conneted via a diffent ISP, I've come to the conclusion that I'm hitting a flakey router somwhere on the route that the the signal takes when I attempt to access yuku via my ISP.
That's why it works fine when I use a TOR proxy, and why when I use a friend's internet connection which routes via Bigbond the connection is roited via a different set of routers, and it has nothing to do with my IP address, except for that fact that computers connecting from an IP address range allocated to Pacific Internet go to yuku via this flakey router.
