Quote:In retrospect, I now must retrieve my infamous apology, for the truth is that I should have never made one in the first place.
Caelia The similarity between (some parts of) religions and (some parts of) science could perhaps be that they try to explain the same things. Like origin.
Those that want verified facts to suit their accepted theories should seek them in written texts that always provide us accepted, but outdated information.
Those that can stomach freedom, and live on the cutting edge are best be suited in a freethinkers pub IMO
What better place to revive a thread that had as its agenda to avoid being cast into the alley than in the alley where freedom of expression seems to live on unmolested?
An afterlife, so to speak, but outback in the alley.
The alley is hardly supervised, and in an atmosphere much more conducive to bar room brawls.
Anyhow! ... Caelias to the (point) example clearly shows that there are more ways to see blatant thought scribbled on the bar room floors.
Caelias rumblings are refurbished, redressed, and inserted below.
They are open to those that can participate freely, with their minds.
Those that cant are welcome to participate, with their hearsays as they see fit.
Just remember that in this alley, alley RULES were set in the beginning, and seem to be carved in stone ... ?
Both God, or man, have both indicated that humans do have a free-will, and it is in such a manner that I express that you should express it in a manner befitting to the alley! KEEP AWARE that the owner can always call in the enforcers of decency according to the rules of EZboard, and so on, and on he goes!
Caelia claimed that there is no argument with number one --- (1.) I claim that the sun is big and red and really, really warm. Further the argument is not challenged to its authenticity, merits, or its validity.
It is the second claim that inflames his desire to take it to the alley, that is : (2). This has been proven again and again by Albert Einstein.Caliea goes on to express an agreement with although I agree with the point, and I believe it's true, this doesn't make the second part of it true.
Here I insert humor
Have you got any refference that Einstein has never made such a claim, or are you just going on what you believe is factually correct?
I hope you can see the humor there. ...?...
While I dont really expect that Einstein would bother proving such again, and again. I do think he would agree with the first observation, and not make much out of the second.
It is my own disbelief in either religious/scientific answers that cause me grievance when I post my views (anywhere) which are very similar to Eiensteins view he expressed with
Quote:I think that where math indicates that a point vanishes when it loses its dimensions is only possible in the imaginations of mathematicians, and Religions dogma of insisting on the pre existence of God in some non-existing spiritual form is equally flawed in the real world., and I question why does science take existence down to below zero, and replaces the idea of an imagined God with an imagined ball sized point of mass.
As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain; and as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality
Here I shall extend the glove, and swish it across the faces of those opposed to a solid existence only, making God, and the big-Bang a figment of mans imagination.
That reality is a mixture of differently masses of the same thing, and the imagination is the glue that creates the macro reality from a micro reality, and things like spirits, fairies, and hob goblins exist in the imaginations of the mind that is exposed to such fantasies.
The purpose of life is to live, and to die. Becoming aware of something else. The macro-reality is a projection of the imagination, and is subjected to the truths accepted for its reality.
That math is a tool that defines human conceptions of reality, and it is meaningless to whether deities exist. That math cannot destroy reality except in a conceptually agreeable manner.
The universe is closed, and inside a solid shell that separates one universe from all other universes.
That textbooks are outdated by the time they are published, and space travel is here already, and that is just the way it is.
Have a nice day!
