Is atheism rooted in the firmness of judeo-Christian religions?
I am a hindu, but when I see and argument between a theist and atheist, I generally side with the atheist, even though I believe in God.
However, this god is quite different. It is either not all-powerful, or not just/merciful.
It is a God that simply exists.
To this day, I don't see how there can't be some supernatural entity just cracking up at his creation.
But, I know that there must be something in this world other than the attractions between electromagnetic forces. The western approach to God, though, is one I disapprove of.
