When someone speaks three languages, they are called trilingual. When someone speaks only two languages, they are called bilingual. So, if a person speaks only one language, what are they called? An American. _ TS.
"Why can't those foreign people learn to speak more better English when they come here" _ Actual quote from a 'Native born American' union worker for the big 3 Auto.
May my those countryman of mine forgive but Biglolto TS.

When someone at work on my crew laughs at an accent,  I always ask 'Can you speak that persons language?  If not, then I wouldn't be so smug. Never dis a person for an accent, period. If they are trying to use 'better words' honestly, don't diss em. Until you can speak their language, don't diss them for speaking 'imperfectly' in ours, if they are honestly trying".

If it weren't for the fact that most Europeans work that way, I would be in serious trouble over there. I spent a week in Paris France, and the phrase "Je ne pas français" works marvels when you also say, "Merci Beaucoup".

It's all very well to run around saying regulation is bad, get the government off our backs, etc. Of course our lives are regulated. When you come to a stop sign, you stop; if you want to go fishing, you get a license; if you want to shoot ducks, you can shoot only three ducks. The alternative is dead bodies at the intersection, no fish, and no ducks. OK?
