Yeah.
Air can be a valuable safety feature, in rare conditions; conditions I've experienced.

When it's hazy, hot, and humid (par for the course in New York summers), and perhaps raining, using the (heat) defroster can be downright unpleasant.
But a fogged up windshield isn't very safe.

Running the air conditioner through the defroster actually pumps moisture out of the air, and clears the windshield very quickly.

Frankly, I'd rather it didn't have air conditioning. I won't use it much. And it just adds to the price, to the complexity of the machine, reduces fuel economy whether it's being used or not, etc.

BUT, I want 4 wheel disk brakes. And they're not present in the DX, or LX models.
