Is another reason why the same computer with Windows can be cheaper than a Linux computer. Trialware, Someone pays to have this stuff installed on the machine.
Other than that, the specs are about average, for current hardware. The 2 Gig RAM is the minimum required to run Windows, you'll need to increase that to get reasonable performance. I get better performance from my netbooks with 1 Gig of RAM than most Windows users get from full sized machines with 2 Gig of RAM.
If you are buying on price it's probably a great deal, especially if you blow away Windows and replace it with Linux, at which point it would be a real performer, with the 2 Gig of RAM, see my article on loss leaders. The only issue I personally have if you do that is that it's still a Windows sale.
