Thank you Mac.
It happens.
Yuku was a little unstable last night. I saw the chimney sweep at another site.
I'll consider it gremlins. And frankly, they may have done me a favor, as I sense my proposal was anvil stupid.

Tracy,
I found this site for MythTV to Mac OS download:

http://www.thesniderpad.c...com_remository&Itemid=42

But I don't know how to work it.

Do I need both "front end" and "back end"?
And even if so, is that all I need? Just Front & Back? Or is there something else in addition?

Just to be clear:
- I currently have a "viable" DVR on a Apple Mac mini platform, with two Elgato eyeTV USB 2.0 HDTV tuners. I want to get rid of the software, because that software renames my recordings, making it impossible for me to sort the recordings and find the one out of the 340+ that I've got.
- So I'd like to download the best DVR software for over the air (via roof antenna, not via cable or satellite*) HDTV reception with 1080 resolution.
- So I'd like to download ALL the software needed to make that happen. And if MythTV isn't that, what is?

* I'm not sure why this matters, but it does. On my Windows machine, it's necessary to tell the software what the video source is. Lie to it (indicate that it's cable and not antenna) and the system isn't configured properly, and won't work.
