I like quite a few of Elvis' hits but Elvis is not sadly missed by me. In that category I'd place Otis Reading, dead just about when he made it big, Bob Marley, reggae genius, and Hendrix - the electric guitar was made for him.

There's bound to be more, but they spring to mind. Elvis had a great voice and jiggly hips, but considering the hips don't appeal to me... my mum loved Elvis, his films, his music - and I grew up listening to him. I can safely say that I'd rather listen to Elvis than the Beatles, but then I hate the Beatles. Elvis comes a long way down my list of great music.

Suspicious Minds and In the Ghetto are two of my top tunes of all time buy they are the only ones on my MP3 player.

The guy is dead. He's been dead a long time. Get over it.
