To move an object against gravity requires the expenditure of energy to do work. Therefore the gravitational potential energy of that object must be negative, because energy is not created or destroyed. QED. Zero and negative levels are required in maths. Maths is simply a description of reality.
...?... Was this wisdom there all the time, Rambo?

At any degree the wisdom used is still from inside of the universal shell.
That is why math is a reflection of reality.
It is okay to have a designated zero to describe reality, but to remove reality, by stating that a point become “nothing” when it’s dimensions are removed is a false mathematical statement even from inside the universal reality, as to be able to do that would remove reality itself by disposing of the shell. Can’t be done MO

I agree that every object has a potential energy, Rambo.
The potential depends on the size of the object.
It’s ability to move is caused by an imbalance on one side.
We move forward or backward by leaning in that direction.

Try leaning into non-existence.
Can’t be done.
Why?
Because non-existence doesn’t exist in any direction from you.

BTW If you lean really far you should be prepared to move really, really fast!

Does anyone else have any idea what this simpering madman is drivelling on about?
Nope! I don’t know of anyone.
HFMoon came closest, but got frightened when the idea started forming in his own acceptable logic.
He bolted, and ran when he got to close to the truth.

All your base are belong to us
. ...?... Was there more?

WTF!

Even a plank of wood is composed of atoms, and energy imbalances will blow it to pieces if the imbalance becomes strong enough to do that.
It is like I have said.... Energy can reach a certain level, and then it must recede or explode.
In any event the energy is positive energy while it build up, and positive energy as it recedes down. The downward, or movement into less density is called negative density, but it really isn't.
It's just less positive energy, and QED states that it will remain positive energy no matter how densely the base becomes.

There that ought to do it.
