See one who believes in god has reason and duty to make his point, (according to their doctrine, no?) But an athiest, well that's different. An "athiest" has their opinion and that is that, they are under no obligation by their opinion of there being no god, to go around spending so much time trying to convince others of the same.
I don't know how many times I've asked the atheists in here to kidnap theists, drag them into this place at gunpoint, force them to post in the debate forum and then have the brass balls to argue with them about their god. Every little bit helps, although we certainly have enough exposure just from our door-to-door campaigns and the tracts we hand out in the malls, not to mention the number of marble "Stop Believing in Gods, Or Else!" monuments and plaques our operatives have covertly installed in government venues across the nation. I believe we're making headway in the classrooms, too, although insisting that only science be taught in science classes may be pushing the envelope a little too far. I'm really happy with the disappearance of churches, synagogues, and mosques from every other corner, the tax breaks for our many incredibly wealthy belief centers, the thousands of vouchers atheist parents are being given to send their kids to private, secular schools, and the upsurge of persuasive atheist programming on television.

Yep. We're on the march all right.

Why when such an obligation is not part of their (claimed) belief system, yet they try to convince or recruit people to their way of thinking as much as any God fearing folk to theirs.

Sounds like hidden motives there babe. That's why wise men say many Athiests are really Satanists.
Explain what Satanism is about. If I'm going to be one, I might as well get the agenda from one of the...wise.

(Oh, man I can't wait for this one!)
