Again (IMO) Is it a good thing, or a bad thing to make laws outlawing all religions, as each still preach that their religion is the only true religion, as suggested by Dearprewdence with
“if laws have to be made to keep religion out of the areas of learning, then thats what has to be done”?
What would be an appropriate penalty to enforce banning religions of any, or all nature?

:eek

If I wanted all religions to be outlawed I would have said "Outlaw religion". I didnt say that. And if you expect me to get on that wierd merry go round with you, you're wasting your time. I have better things to do.
I said keep religion OUT of areas of learning. Do you not know what "areas of learning" means? Maybe thats all the problem is. It means "education". It means science wont start going to church to teach science and religion wont go to SCHOOL to teach religion. I dont see how you could misunderstand that. Its NOT eliminating each other, its keeping OUT of each other's WAY. Let the preachers preach, and let the curious/scientific find what they want to find and teach what they want to teach.
Its only a war if you make it a war. I dont think it has to be. Its only the nit picking that makes it go on forever.
This thread could also be called "Why dont people get along?" Hmmmm. Im not sure, really. Worth looking into. Maybe a $Federal Grant$ for research might help.

Have some wine, I hear it's good for you. :)
