The whole point that I was trying to show was that Skeptics, and religions are human evolved.
I wanted to show that the eternal conflicts between enthusiasts of either are mostly bucking human inventions…

It seems so funny to me when skeptics grind that ethics & morals could happen without religions the fact is that humans did make them.
Of course, Caelia, I have no studies to back up this claim, :lol

Thank you JohnSA,
I have decided that it might be more fun to start a thread that questions whether Jesus was/IS actually God!
That seems to be the main interest of any discussion about religion with Skeptics

Anyway!
Where I considered religion as the topic
…some seemed to struggle with the idea that Christianity, along with the Christian God was more to the point and that was what they wished to discuss, and Caelia’s post seemed to want to alter the thread in that direction with;

Quote:
I don't know about connections between science and religion (besides them both being human inventions), but I do know this
:( Shows that Caelia clearly understood the question of the thread, and that Caelia did not know how to proceed with any meaningful post)

Quote:
If you could place two tribes on two separate islands, set their technology back to stone-age, and let them live separately for 10,000 years, chances are pretty slim that both tribes would come out saying "Hallelujah, praise Jesus."
( A clear indication that Jesus was the brunt of Caelia’s sarcasm)

Quote:
Chances are, however, that both tribes would have invented the wheel, thought up Pythagoras', come up with Maxwell's laws, Newton's differentials, maybe even theories of relativity and astro-physics.
( Hence! My answer to his post concerning the “study”
I still call Caelia’s post in error for the chances are pretty good that both tribes would have some form of religion also!
Quote:
Religion is invented (by god or man is up to the reader to vote on), and taught. Science is discovered and understood.
(Clearly a sentence more accurately applied to today’s science, but hardly all science.

Not sure, but this may not of been true to science of the 20th century! .
Up to the 20th, as well as the present day arguments science still seems to be struggling to prove the existence of some Creator designed after the Bible. IMO!

Having said this
I shall turn the thread over without any further comments for it should deteriorate into the usual flam-flab I was hoping to avoid!

Cheers :pour
