I can agree with JohnSA with the only connection that he can think of. That they both consist of "theories", ideas, or speculation
And also with Animadverto’s connection between religion and science “depending on your religion”
Of course “Science is questions that may not be answered. Religion is answers that may not be questioned.” But the very thought ties them together”
“None that are relevant, as far as I can see.” … Come on Mac! Science is the creator of the human God belief.
One way to observe science as a Godly endeavor is to see that science actually plays the role of the devil. Not a fuzzy or small roll, but a major destroyer of both religions, and civilizations. I find that humans control both science, and religions.

I find it fascinating that science, and religions are bound together in civilization.
One seems to need the other.
Discovery is the catalyst that propels scientific adventures. The desire seems to be to further the Biblical scriptures on the one hand, and disprove those scriptures on the other hand. Great strides were made to expand human religions, and develop societies for the good of human kind. The morals, ethics, and so forth are all accredited to the religions influence on humans. The greatest civilizations are designed after religious ideals, and philosophies. Humans are indebted to religions for their explanations of scientific mysteries. (example---Heaven, nirvana, paradise, and so on…are the equivalent of the civilization’s greatest desires. Paradise where hunger is wiped out through providing abundances of milk, and honey.

The religious ideals of godly guidance seems to be the blueprint for the scientist.

The simple quest for a GUT for everything is a religious quest for a Godhead, or earthly kingdom.

Just a thought....... ;
They cannot exist as recognizable to us…separated!!! :preach
I know.... :groan
