Macaroo: Incidentally, if you intend to continue ignoring other posters on the board, it would be helpful to know that. Saves a significant amount of time looking for responses that aren't going to happen.

Hi Mac,

I had no idea...you were looking for a response, certainly...not from me. Plus...you seem to inspire plenty of responses from your fellow posters.

Why don't I respond? Well...I get choosey. I don't type very fast and am quite limited in time, so I choose posts that I feel I want to respond to the most. Yours? Well, perhaps you have not noticed...but I have hit on some of what you have said...in posts to others. Why not deal with you directly?

You seem to want to teach, as opposed to share viewpoints. It is like...what you have to say, is all that is relative and my views...well, they are all incorrect...so therefore invalid.

What really struck me...and pardon me if I don't go looking for the exact quote...but it went something like "the folks who post opinions" similar to your own I imagine, becuase they were who you were interjecting for, have gone through a long and thorough process of study, and for them or their opinions to be treated lightly, is somehow wrong.

Well excuse me. I'll say the same thing I said to John...to you. Perhaps you have overlooked all the insults that have come at people with *different* views than say...you and yours.

Now, I don't mean to insult anybody; including you ma'am. But I do find much wrong in what you say and how you project yourself, since you seem to want to know why I am *ignoring you* (which I am not doing, as I read some of what you say; not all), but I have chosen not to reply, til now.

For instance Mac, your definition that an Atheist is simply...a person who does not believe in a deity, I don't share. There are people who do not believe, yet keep their minds open in conversation, Agnostics...I find, are usually among that number, there are rare exceptions. Then too, my edition of Webster's defines Atheist as more than one who does not simply believe...but goes further and says that an Atheist "denies the existence of God." This very forum...providing platform for a very agressive denial, also supports a more than simplistic...*disbelief.*

Anyway, it is all tit for tat. What I feel, is not the issue here.

Have a good one.
