Star Trek Deep Space 9 the series

Hub and I have started watching the show from the beginning, after watching the Battlestar Gallactica and it's superior acting it is quite different. I really like BSG Series too bad it's only 5 seasons long.
I love James Edward Olmos, he's such a fine actor!!
Avery Brooks seems to be a competant actor, I can hardly wait to see the appearance of Whoopie later.

I usually don't like Randy Newman songs, but the song he sang for the very last episode of Monk made me use up 3 more Kleenex tissues.
No more Monk. 8 seasons was enough, I guess. It was a very good ending. Very happy and very sad too.

Sort of Steam Punk Gothic meets Shelly Percry in the modern world. Gotta admit that "Ashely" is hot, hot, hot, and not a skinny little thing either.

However the series is a bit silly. I was hoping for a bit more serious, but I can live with the camp. I find that I am strangely attracted to Helen Magnus; perhaps I am "abnormal".

If anybody remembers it, these 1977 interviews have a lot to say today. I think that he is right overall. It isn't the CCTV or Orwell's 1984 that ever was the real threat because who would ever want them? It is the advertising, the MTV, the fashion, that makes us want what they want us to want; much more insidious!

Having seen a couple of episodes of "over there" I was expecting this to be more of the same crap, but I have to say it's fucking brilliant. Much more "Jarhead" and "Blackhawk down" than the toned-down, PC "Over there". I'm wondering which of their officers is going to get them killed first - the idiot captain or the gung-ho colonel...

I finally got the season two. These folks need to start getting the titles out sooner. I would have paid a little more, but the time it came out, it was like waiting forever, and I almost didn't but it. Now I am waiting for Chuck 2, but I want it to come out before Chuck 3 (if there is one) because I think I missed some episodes in season 2.

But anyway, I now have two and I am going to rewatch it. There is still one stinking plot hole, and that is 'if the metal can't go...

Ok, I am trying to see where Joss is going with this. I don't think he is actually heading to the 'brink of destruction' yet. For anyone not having seen the "Unaired Episode" that won't make any sense.

The open was interesting, but forgettable. There was a lot of "Elisa" showing up, and in more ways than one. Hoo hum, however Topher and Dr. Sauders was smoking even thought they didn't after, and in fact didn't. But the verbal exchange...

I have been told that despite the name Buffy the Vampire Slayer" it IS a very good show. I just cannot wrap my mind around the title of the show, considering the last "Buffy" I knew was a cute little coca-poo that loved her "blankie" Mr Snuggles".

The wife picked up this complete boxed set a little while ago (because of her out of Buffy) but we've been watching them this week while I was on holiday. It's brilliant, and I can't understand why it was canned halfway through the second season.

I'm liking Warehouse 13 for the most part, but I have to say that agent sidekick girl...Myka, is it?.... with the ostentatiously showcased collagen cranked lips and intensely self-conscious Cover Girl Mascara stare is pretty irritating, as is the dramatically overfraught Mrs. Frederic. The rest of the cast is pretty good, though, and so far the stories are reasonably entertaining. If it lasts long enough for a little character development, it could be a minor (albeit, goofy) pleasure....
