Roller Rinks...Shoe Skates....Skate Boys (to help you lace your skates tightly)....Wooden floors....powder on them to make the wooden wheels roll better....Open windows on both sides of the rink (no airconditioning) ... Skating Classes ..... Skating skirts - rink rule they must be "finger-tip length"...Metal cases to carry your skates to and from the rink....later getting a locker and leaving your skates at the rink because you were there EVERY night but "family night"....

I remember when Christmas was just plain fun. As a kid - no last minute shopping, no gift budget, no managing time with , well everyone, no dinner to plan, no lights to be strung on the outside of the house in sub-zero weather, etc.

Christmas as a kid, ah the great memories. Christmas as an adult, I'm broke and tired, HO-HO-HO :-)
